Refund Policy
The short version
If we fail to deliver what you paid for, you get your money back. If you simply changed your mind after the date was registered in your name, you do not, because the date has already been permanently withdrawn from sale for everybody else.
Refunded in full
- Payment was taken but the registration was not completed.
- The same date was registered twice through a fault on our side. The later registration is refunded.
- The entry is removed by us for breaching the content rules, in which case the date returns to the registry.
- A duplicate or accidental charge.
Not refunded
- Change of mind once the date has been registered and published.
- A spelling mistake in a submitted name. Write to us instead: corrections are free and we will fix it.
- Disappointment that the registration is not officially recognised. This is stated plainly on the home page, at checkout and in the Terms before payment.
Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. That right does not survive supply of digital content that begins immediately with your agreement.
At checkout you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the date is registered. Until the moment of registration you may still withdraw and be refunded in full. This is why the checkout says so in plain words rather than hiding it here.
How to ask
Write to hola@ranuk.dev with the date and the registry number. Refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within five to ten business days.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong, contacting us is faster than a chargeback and we would rather just fix it.
